Welcome, this is a personal, professional site by and for Adrienne D. Lawrence.
I am a writer and currently work in the Baltimore/D.C. metro area.
I've maintained a number of blogs, including a personal one I started in 2004.
To read the latest goings on in my life, there's "Down the Aisle." It is an FNP blog where I cover all things in our, Patrick Mendonca's and my, wedding prep. I cover the ever important topics — the basics of my planning, choosing a location and the ideal season for a wedding. However I also address the stress of planning, my changing identity and the importance of planning a marriage — not just a fabulous party.
In addition to my blog, I write news and feature articles regularly. I've included a few on the examples page.
Then there's my column, "Front Row, Center." In it, I review stage productions. I have years of experience with performing, directing, and running productions. Admittedly, it is one of my favorite to write, but it can also be the most challenging. The line between helpful and hurtful is fine.
In college, I studied communications and my focus was in new media. I learned how to write and design websites; report for radio, television, and newspaper; and speak in public.
For details on my work experience, see my resumé page.
