Welcome, this is a personal, professional site by and for Adrienne D. Lawrence.

I am a writer and currently work in the Baltimore/D.C. metro area.

I've maintained a number of blogs, including a personal one in 2004.

The most up-to-date is "Popcorn and More," co-authored with my husband, Patrick Mendonca. In it, we review a newly released movie or two a week. In addition to the review, we also post our immediate thoughts in a YouTube video: "Pre-Popped."

In addition to blogs, I write news and feature articles regularly. I've included a few on the examples page.

Then there's my column, "Front Row, Center." In it, I review stage productions. I have years of experience with performing, directing, and running productions. I am a professional critic, I was a critic fellow during the 2010 National Critics Institute.

In college, I studied journalism and communications, focused in new media. My minor was in writing and designing for websites; my primary studies focused on reporting for radio, television, and newspaper. I also successfully competed in public speaking.
